Albwardy Damen is a joint venture between Albwardy Investment, Dubai and the Damen Shipyards Group, Holland. Both family owned companies with a long history. Providing shipbuilding and ship repair services to the marine and oil and gas related industries in the Middle East, founded in 1978.

Services include new building of steel and aluminum vessels and repair and servicing of marine, as well as O&G assets and are offered in all major UAE ports and anchorages, as well as in Oman (the Ports of Sohar and Salalah). In addition we offer offshore and afloat repair services to clients worldwide. Our diving division offers their services out of Fujairah including underwater hull cleaning.

Albwardy Damen has a total workforce of around 1,100 people comprising  26 different nationalities in our three UAE locations: Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah. With all key competences in-house, including an extensive engineering division, AD has the ability to repair and build vessels to the highest technical and environmental standards. We are certified by LRQA to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 as well as API Q1.
