Over 20 years ago, Albwardy Investment diversified into hospitality, with current hotel interests now consisting of 16 properties on four continents. The portfolio is a diverse mix of acquired, refurbished and new build properties, with our success resting in branding the hotels and resorts with some of the most distinguished, renowned and best in class international hotel chains and operators.
The Albwardy portfolio currently comprises 1,300 rooms, with a further 400 under development. Our hospitality sector employs over 2,500 staff with an additional 1,000 jobs created on our project sites.
Albwardy has iconic properties like the Hyatt Regency Arusha and the Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa. The Four Seasons at Desroches Island in the Seychelles and the Melia Serengeti which were both recently developed and now open to the public.
With 16 owned and operated properties, totaling approximately 1,300 rooms, with an additional 400 rooms under development, Albwardy Investments has cultivated a distinguished hospitality and leisure portfolio spanning four continents, encompassing a diverse array of properties, including luxury hotels, resorts, and lifestyle ventures.
In addition to hotels, Albwardy hospitality also includes investments in lifestyle assets within Dubai, namely The Desert Palm Polo Estate & Residences, Taste Kitchen and Pavilion foods restaurants.

Heddo Siebs - CEO
Having had a passion for hospitality since age 19, Heddo initially trained as a chef and hotel management back in his home country of Germany, before joining Hilton Hotels in America. Thereafter Heddo journeyed with Hyatt International, where he served in several management and general manager positions in Europe, Asia and Africa for over 20 years. Heddo joined Albwardy Investment in July 2022 to oversee the group’s growing hospitality portfolio and numerous hotel projects around the world.
Pradeep Surana - CFO
Pradeep has over 35 years of post-qualification experience in managing the financial affairs of corporate groups including 28 years in Dubai. Worked in various positions over the years in multiple industries, i.e., Manufacturing, Trading, Service, and mainly in the Hospitality Sector (for the past 25 years)
